To promote further Bible study and discussion during the week especially with your family, we are posing questions and proposing points to ponder. Here are a few things from Ephesians 6:1-4 and related passages for you to think about: 

1. What is the significance of Deuteronomy 6:4-9 in regard to family discipleship? Are you speaking of God’s Word to your children several times per day? 

2. According to Matthew 7:24-27 how does one build his house on the rock? As parent(s), are you building YOUR house on the rock? 

3. How comfortable are you with exhorting your child(ren) to “Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1 - NKJV)? 

4. According to 1 Samuel chapters 2 & 3, what was the priest Eli’s sin? What must we, as parents, restrain our children from? 

5. Parents, are you tired? How do Hebrews 12:2 & Galatians 6:7-9 help you to endure and not lose heart?
