PRAYER OPPORTUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE WEEK
All Church Prayer and Fasting meets each Monday. Prayer begins at 7pm in the sanctuary. Men’s Prayer meets each Saturday at 7:30am in the foyer.

E3: THE MIRACLES OF JESUS
In this series we are studying each of Jesus’ 35 recorded miracles using the inductive method.  Since the miracles are stories, we are looking at things like plot, character development, etc. to understand them fully.  The primary text for this week is Mark 2:1-12 where we see Jesus heal a paralyzed man.  Read also Matthew 9:2-8 and Luke 5:17-26.  See you at 6pm in room 3:16!

WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Ladies, we have our Genesis Bible Studies available for you today after 1st and 2nd service. Our table is set up outside and a $10.00 donation is suggested for the Genesis study.  Women's Study begins Tuesday, September 7th.  We are also beginning registration for our 2011 Women's Retreat. The cost of the retreat is $155.00 and will be held February 25-27 at the Murrieta Conference Center.  We only have 85 spots available and in order to be registered you need to leave a $55.00 non refundable deposit.  You will be able to make payments after your initial deposit to help with the cost.

HEART TO HEART: JULY 27
Ladies our next Heart to Heart will be Tuesday, July 27. Join us at 6:30pm for goodies and fellowship in room 3:16 we then move to the sanctuary at 7:15pm for a time of worship and the Word. There will be women available to pray with you at 6:20pm in the Ministry Room (directly across the sanctuary) if you would like prayer.  Take a look at our New Women's Corner (located under the TV in the foyer) to keep in touch with what's going on in the Women's Ministry.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: AUGUST 9-13
VBS pre-registration begins this Sunday, July 18. Please sign your child up and gather neighborhood friends as well. Registration forms are available at the back counter.  You can take one and turn it in next week OR return it to Amanda today! We are so anxious to see how our Lord wants to minister to each child through this exciting week that we are dedicating to our children. In order to make sure we are well prepared please register early.  Come on aboard- we're taking an exciting High Seas Expedition in God's Word!   August 9-13 9am-12pm.We are also continuing to take sign ups for VBS volunteers.  We are looking for men, women, and high schoolers.  Please continue to pray about this ministry opportunity.  We will need many helpers to make this a successful week for our kids. 

LOVE AND RESPECT MARRIAGE STUDY
This study is taken directly from the Love and Respect Marriage Conference.  It is divided into 14 studies; each one consisting of a video and study segment.  Come join us for this home study on Friday nights starting August 13th @ 7pm. Sign up today!  Cost is $20 for materials.  Limited childcare.

ACTS 2:42 SUMMER DINNER FELLOWSHIP
Mark your calendars!  Our next Acts 2:42 will be on Wednesday, August 11th.  The suggested donation for the meal is $4. The dinner fellowships are a wonderful time together whereby we grow closer as a church body, encourage each other, and celebrate the atoning sacrifice of our glorious Lord and Saviour.

WOMEN’S SUMMER BRUNCH: AUGUST 21
Ladies our Summer Brunch "Paradise in the Son" will be held on Saturday, August 21 from 9:00-12:00.  Registration on the day of our event begins at 8:45 am.  We will begin our morning with Worship and the Word, in the sanctuary. We will then move into 316 for our brunch. The cost is $15.00 and includes lunch.  Ladies feel free to come dressed in your favorite, modest, Hawaiian attire.  We will have a prize for the best outfit!   Sign up today at our outside table!

MEN’S RETREAT: SEPTEMBER 10-12
We are taking registration for our Men’s Retreat that will be held on September 10-12, 2010 at Mile High Pines in Angelus Oaks.  Register with a $30.00 non-refundable deposit and you can make weekly payments if you choose. The total cost is $130.00.

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
There are many opportunities to serve the Lord here at Calvary Chapel.  Some
of the various ministries in need are Children’s, Cleaning, Maintenance, Ushers/Greeters, Follow up, and Sound/Media ministries.  If this is your home church and you have yet to get involved, please pray about where our Lord would have you serve.  More information is available at the back counter in the foyer.
