PRAYER OPPORTUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE WEEK
Praying Your Prodigal Home tonight at 4:30 p.m. to
pray for our loved ones who have walked away from the faith, and we have All
Church Prayer and Fasting each Monday. Prayer begins at
7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary and nursery care for infants through kindergarten
is available as well as children’s prayer for 1st through 6th grade.
Men’s Prayer meets each Saturday at 7:30 in
the foyer.
MEN’S BREAKFAST:
MARCH 13
The men will meet at 8am for a time of food, fellowship, worship, and Bible
study. Pastor David Trujillo is going to be sharing from the Word with us. Please
sign up at the back counter. The cost for this event is $10. We are having
burritos; you have a choice of ham, bacon, sausage, or chorizo. Sign up and
pay in the foyer A.S.A.P. to reserve your spot.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT CHILDREN’S
MINISTRY
We are in need of Children's Ministry servants for Wednesday nights. We need at
least 3 more servants in the nursery, 1 servant for the 1st - 3rd grade,
and 1 servant for the 4th - 6th grade. If this is a ministry that you
have been praying about getting involved please pick up a ministry application
form. Be advised everyone who desires to serve in the nursery or children's
ministry must go through a back round check.
E3: "CUTTING IT STRAIGHT"
This week: "Adding to Scripture." The theme for our series, "Cutting
it Straight," is taken from 2 Tim. 2:15 "Be diligent to
present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed,
accurately handling the Word of truth." We will be looking
at a number of verses and exposing some common obstacles to correct Biblical
interpretation. Join us Sunday nights at 6pm in room 3:16.
CHURCH WORK
DAY VOLUNTEERS
We're looking for volunteers to come in during the week and help with some
work we were not able to finish last Saturday. Please let us know at
the back counter if you are interested in serving in this manner.
HOME FELLOWSHIPS
Our home fellowships are currently meeting and open for anyone wanting to join. Each
Sunday we meet 6-8pm for a time of food, fun and fellowship, and most importantly
to discuss more in depth the lessons for Sunday mornings. Please sign
up at the back counter to be placed into a group.
HIGH SCHOOL MIDWEEK: WEDNESDAYS
The high school midweek meets Wednesday nights. We will be going through
the True U DVD series from Focus on the Family. This series is geared to prepare
High School students for the tests of their faith they will undergo in college
in both the social and the classroom scenes through foundational training in
apologetics and education on the Christian worldview. All High School
students are encouraged to attend.
HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS PRAYER: MARCH 4
Come and join your sisters in lifting up prayer and worship to our Lord. We
meet the first Thursday of every month. If you have any questions, please
speak with Amanda.
FATHER/SON TRAINING CAMP: MARCH 5-7
Bring your son(s) and spend the weekend camping at the beach. Enjoy time with
your son(s) as we hear from the training of God's Word. Make a lasting memory!
Sign up today, space is limited! The cost is $50 per family, which includes
meals & smores'.
There will be a meeting today, after 1st service in 316.
JR. HIGH GUY’S
BIBLE STUDY: MARCH 12
On Friday, March 12, we will continue a Jr. High guy’s home Bible study
at Jason Arellano’s place. This will be a time of fellowship, worship,
prayer and Bible study. We will be studying the lives of men of the Bible
such as; Joseph, David, Gideon, Daniel and Joshua. We will meet at 6:30 for
dinner, then get in the Word. Afterwards we will spend some time playing good “clean” video
games. (PS3). Please sign up in the foyer or the Jr. High room.
MARRIED COUPLE'S
RETREAT REGISTRATION: APRIL 30-MAY 2
We are taking registration for our Couple’s Retreat that will be
held on Friday, April 30- Sunday, May 2, 2010 at
the La Quinta Resort & Club. We thought we would make it easier
for you by registering with a $50.00 non-refundable deposit and then you
can make weekly payments if you choose. The cost is an estimated $325.00. Please
do not put your name on the list without a deposit. Sign up at the back counter.
DECORATING
FLORAL MINISTRY
We are looking for a group of ladies who would be interested in serving in
the decorating floral ministry. If you are interested, please sign up at
the back counter and you will be contacted. Thank you!
SOFTBALL LEAGUE
Softball sign-ups are underway. Games will begin Saturday, February 27 and
continue for 8 weeks. The teams are co-ed. The cost is $35.00. Sign
up and pay at the back counter. If you have any questions you can speak with
