MONDAY NIGHT PRAYER
The second Monday of each month is dedicated to all-church prayer from 7:00-8:30 pm. Child care is available for the prayer meeting.  Everyone is encouraged to set aside Mondays weekly as a day of personal fasting and prayer.  

WEDNESDAY NIGHT PRAYER
We have weekly prayer before the evening service from 6:00-6:45 pm. If you are involved in ministry on Wednesdays and need to report at 6:30 for ministry duties, you're encouraged to come and just slip out of the prayer meeting early.
 
THURSDAY NIGHT EVANGELISM
Everyone is invited to join with the E3 Ministry on Thursday nights as we take the Gospel to the streets. We currently meet at Starbucks in downtown Claremont at 6pm. "...do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry." 2 Timothy 4:5

E3: KNOWING GOD
This Sunday night our focus will be "The Grace Of God". The purpose of this lesson is to understand the doctrine of grace.  We will be discussing what the Bible teaches concerning God's grace and how to experience it.  Join us at 6pm in room 3:16 as we continue to pursue a deeper more intimate knowledge of our glorious God!

HARVEST FESTIVAL AND TRUNK OR TREAT: OCTOBER 31
Today is the last day to sign up for the CCU Harvest Festival! PLEASE SIGN UP TO DECORATE YOUR CAR FOR THE TRUNK OR TREAT, or TO DONATE BAKED GOODS TO THE WOMEN’S BAKE SALE! We also have fliers at the back counter to distribute to neighbors, friends, and co-workers. Candy donations needed - drop off at back counter by Monday!

FATHER DAUGHTER DATE NIGHT: NOVEMBER 12
Dad’s, come enjoy this special time with your daughter(s) for a Good Old-Fashioned Western Round Up with the Triple D (Dinner, Devotion, and Dancing). Sat. Nov 12th @ 6:30 in Rm 316. Sign up at the back counter. Cost is $20 for 2, and $25 for 3 or more.

MARRIED COUPLES NIGHT OUT: NOVEMBER 19
Coffee and Dessert Fellowship Sat. Nov 19th from 7:30pm - 9:00pm in Rm 316. The cost is only $5 per couple and childcare will be available for grades K - 5th. For more info. visit the back counter today!

COREM DEO WINTER RETREAT: DECEMBER 2-4
This year’s high school retreat theme is “Imitate Me” taken from 1 Corinthians 11:1. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is due today to reserve your spot. Payment plans are available, see Josh Sayles for more information.

2ND ANNUAL WOMEN’S THANKSGIVING DINNER: NOVEMBER 15
Tuesday, November 15th from 6:30-9:30 the Women's Ministry will host a Thanksgiving meal to bless the ladies. We will eat, worship and have a special message by June Hesterly. There is no charge for this event, but PLEASE sign up now as we only have space for 50 more ladies before we start a waiting list. Also, be sure to let us know if you already signed up but won’t be able to attend so we can include the ladies on the waiting list.

WOMEN’S RETREAT SIGN UPS
The cost of the retreat increases to $175.00 after today!  Make sure to get registered with a $65.00 non-refundable deposit and monthly payments of $25.00 to ensure your retreat is paid in full by February.  Visa/Master card are accepted for your convenience.  Our retreat will be held February 24-26, 2012 at the beautiful Calvary Chapel Murrieta Conference Center.   If you need special arrangements please speak to the ladies at the Women's Ministry Table outside.  

MISSION MALAGA MEETING
There will be a mandatory meeting Sunday, November 4th during 2nd service for all those wanting to go on the missions trip to Spain in February. If you are interested in going, come to the meeting and talk to the missions team about possible arrangements with finances, etc.

MARRIAGE AND FAMILY SERIES
The Sunday Morning ‘Marriage and Family’ 12 part series is now available in MP3 format for $10. Purchase a copy for yourself, or for a friend at the back counter.

FOOD BOX MINISTRY
Beginning November 1st CCU will no longer be receiving miscellaneous food donations. We are working with a low cost food source that will provide complete food boxes for $26, feeding a family of four for 1 week. As the holidays approach, we get many food box requests from our community so be encouraged to give in this area. Please mark your donations to this ministry as “food box”.

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
We have a need for servants in the Ushers/Hostess Ministry, Children’s Ministry, and the Sound/Media Ministry (training provided). If you are interested in any of these areas, please fill out a ministry application today, located at the back counter.
